Groundskeeper — Lawrence County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Lawrence County, Illinois. You will work at a private estate garden. The role involves: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Six days a week, one day off.
