Vacancy available: we are hiring a QC inspector in Geauga County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Requirements: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
