Dozer operator • Butler County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dozer operator in Butler County, Iowa. The job is on a road construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily What we are looking for: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Full-time, day shift.
