Great opportunity: in-process quality controller (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Borough of Bolton, England. Day to day you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
