Gtaw welder — Frederick County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Frederick County, Maryland. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
