Retail butcher — Ingham County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a retail butcher in Ingham County, Michigan. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Season and marinate meat on request • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
