Machinist — Davidson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Davidson County, Tennessee. The job is on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
