Formwork carpenter — Issaquena County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Issaquena County, Mississippi. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
