Rigger wanted in Coles County

Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Coles County, Illinois. The job is at a container port. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams You will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle.
