Construction labourer — Mercer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Mercer County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height On the job you will handle: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
