Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
