Long-haul driver — Jim Wells County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Jim Wells County, Texas. On a typical shift you will plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid digital tachograph card At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
