Shakeout operator — Karim Lamido

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Karim Lamido, Taraba State. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
