Argon welder — Ross County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Ross County, Ohio. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 1+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
