The role involves handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); explain the day's specials and recommend dishes. You should have: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
