Industrial sewing operator — Shenandoah County

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Shenandoah County, Virginia. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality 5+ years on the tools preferred.
