Bricklayer — Carroll County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Carroll County, Maryland. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. You will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time, day shift.
