Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Erie County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely You will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash.
