Pipe TIG welder wanted in Madison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Madison County, Texas. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On the job you will handle: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
