Counter butcher — Ukum

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Ukum, Benue State. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day to day you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Ideal candidate: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
