Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lorry driver in Lafayette County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card On a typical shift you will log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
