Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Wells County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Wells County, North Dakota. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
