Glass cutter — Hidalgo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass cutter in Hidalgo County, New Mexico. The job is in a mirror and glass showroom. What we are looking for: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Own basic hand tools an advantage The role involves grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
