Panel welder — Johnson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Johnson County, Iowa. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
