Powder coating technician — Lincoln County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Lincoln County, Minnesota. The job is in a busy paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms Full-time with occasional weekends.
