Now hiring: formwork erector (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork erector in City of Newport News, Virginia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On the job you will handle: • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
