Now hiring: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Lee County, Iowa. You will work at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens Part-time with flexible hours.
