Flatlock machine operator — Mountrail County

You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
