Tower crane operator — Perkins County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Perkins County, Nebraska. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Six days a week, one day off.
