Day to day you will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; check walls for plumb and level as you go; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Part-time with flexible hours.
