Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofer in Perquimans County, North Carolina. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. You will install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; insulate and ventilate the roof void; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing. Requirements: • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
