Road roller operator — Marion County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Marion County, Iowa. Day to day you will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; check for underground cables and services before digging; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery 3+ years on the tools preferred.
