Shopfront glazier — Douglas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Douglas County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers Ideal candidate: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
