Quality control inspector — Vilas County

Join our team: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Vilas County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Day-to-day duties: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
