Tailor machinist — Lowndes County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Lowndes County, Alabama. The job is on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
