Hoist operator — Columbus County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in Columbus County, North Carolina. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
