Rigger — Mathews County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Mathews County, Virginia. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
