Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Culberson County, Texas. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
