Bricklayer — Kaita

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Kaita, Katsina State. You will work on a busy housing site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
