What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads We offer $21 per hour plus benefits.
