Great opportunity: restoration bricklayer (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Derby, England. You will be based on a new-build development. On a typical shift you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
