Lifting rigger wanted in Swift County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Swift County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On a typical shift you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; read lift plans and method statements before starting; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
