Foundry labourer • Haskell County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Haskell County, Texas. On a typical shift you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
