We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Miami County, Kansas. The role involves operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
