Shuttering fixer — Union County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Union County, Kentucky. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing The role involves: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
