Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Marion County, Georgia. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
