Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Montmorency County, Michigan. The job is on a new-build development. Day-to-day duties: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience.
