Cement mason — Cattaraugus County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Cattaraugus County, New York. On a typical shift you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
