Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Decatur County, Kansas. You will work on a dam or embankment job. On the job you will handle: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels 3+ years on the tools preferred.
