Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Knox County, Missouri. You will work on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
